Chivalry is not dead...just in a state of coma.

Table one, knight in shining armor please... with extra gravy :)

True enough, "white knights" sometimes exist: you just have to be at the right place at the right time...

Ayala Avenue: agawan ng jeep mode papuntang Ayala MRT

Despite of all those people-women specifically- who doesn't seem to care who they step on to or bump at, just as long as they board the jeepney first, there will be one decent-not to mention good-smelling- type of guy who would make way for you just so you can have the last seat

9 pogi points for you pare!

Makati Avenue: hookers in before sundown

Needless to say, we have this idea that foreigners-male foreigners- who would be up for anything, just to get a Filipina to bed. I remember my friend's entry about hookers who hand out calling cards to foreigners, and I've seen one for myself last Saturday. Walking towards the terminal, I crossed the street with this good looking American. When we reached the other side, these two ladies came up to him and handed out this neon green-colored calling card. The foreigner looked at it for a few seconds then politely smiled at those two ladies and walked away. I guess not all are interested to get laid then.

7 pogi points for you sir!

Don Manolo Blvd- Alabang Hills Village (Along Bene): the Night' Knight on his shining maroon Tamaraw FX

It was 1998, so FX was an in thing as a private car for students then. Though the main gate of the village can be considered as walking distance from our school, it was kinda dangerous at that point since it was night time and there were only a handful of street lights. Me and my friends were half way through our walk when we heard a car honking at us. We checked it out and this FX stopped infront of us. The car wasn't tinted so it was easy for us to see that the driver was this harmless-looking guy. He asked where we were going and he offered us a ride. We wanted to get off at this corner where we can catch a jeepney, but he has a point that it was a li'l dark there so he offered to take us to ATC where it's well lighted and there's a guard present.

8 pogi points for you dear! (kahit sa gabi ka lang super gwapo hehe)

Makati Avenue (past midnight and 8 hours before our Strike that 07 xmas party)

After our practice for our presentation, Alex had to stay behind since it was still his shift then Marvin and I went ahead. He opted to wait for me to catch a cab. Along Makati ave, we saw Terry and Lolens there, also waiting for a cab- well Lolens waiting for Terry to catch a cab. We waited for like an hour or so. Terry suggested that Lolens and Marvin should just get on their way since she and I were headed south, them heading north. But they decided to stay and waited for us to head home first. Needless to say, we shared one cab and had the driver get Terry home, and me to the Pasay Rotonda terminal first, before heading north.

Marvin and Lolens, 10 pogi points each (errrr... 10 ganda points for Marvin? hehe)
